Neon Skyline emerged from the electric shadows of the underground — where roaring guitar riffs collide with analog synthesizers and thundering machines. Equal parts 80s excess and future-facing grit.
Formed in Winnipeg in 2024 by Robert Walden, Neon Skyline set out to resurrect the visceral energy of classic heavy metal and fuse it with the atmospheric, cinematic soundscapes of synthwave. The result is something that feels simultaneously retro and relentlessly modern.
Drawing from the chrome-and-neon aesthetics of classic sci-fi — Blade Runner, Terminator, the whole rain-soaked cyberpunk canon — the band builds worlds in sound. Every track is a late-night drive through a neon city that doesn't exist yet.
So far, Neon Skyline has released a number of singles and one full-length album, Midnight Mirage. This is just getting started though — so stay tuned for more.
This is the story of Neon Skyline. Let's journey together.
